    We are pleased to invite you to screenings of the remarkable documentary, Alias Ruby Blade as a fundraising event in support of the work of Fundasaun Alola.

    July 2014 screenings of the movie Alias Ruby Blade will be hosted in Melbourne and Hobart.

    HOBART:

    2 July 2014 at 7pm at the Stanley Burbury Theatre; University Centre; Sandy Bay Campus, Hobart.

    Tickets for the Hobart screening are available from Chinaine at Hobart Eye Surgeons during office hours ph 62106000; or from Nic ph 0418885590 or Eoin ph 62602243 after hours.

     

    MELBOURNE:

    6 July 2014 at 4pm at the Sun Theatre, 8 Ballarat Street, Yarraville

    Alias Ruby Blade follows Kirsty Sword Gusmao’s perilous journey with resistance leader, Xanana Gusmao, towards independence for Timor-Leste. The film which includes original footage presents a unique insight into the processes which eventually led to the creation of the new nation.

    Alola Australia partners with Fundasaun Alola, the NGO founded by Kirsty Gusmao to make positive and sustainable changes in the lives of women and children in Timor-Leste.
