MILK Campaign August 1 – 7

Alola’s MILK Campaign was launched on World Breastfeeding Day in 2011 by Kirsty Sword Gusmão along with mothers and babies in Melbourne and Timor-Leste. Now it’s an annual event that celebrates breastfeeding and motherhood, and supports improvements in child and maternal health in Timor-Leste.

You are invited to our Melbourne MILK Morning tea:

When: Saturday, August 4 at 11.30 am

Where: Belgium Avenue Neighbourhood House: ‘The Factory’, 19 Belgium Avenue, Richmond

Families and children and babies are all warmly welcome

Please bring: A donation to our Alola MILK campaign

Can’t make it to our Morning Tea? Then please consider four other ways you can help:

1. Host or attend a MILK Morning Tea during World Breastfeeding Week: August 1- 7, to raise funds for Fundasaun Alola’s Maternal and Child Health programs. Contact Alola Australia: for brochures and support material to assist you to host your morning tea.

2.Raise funds via our MILK ‘Everyday Hero’ campaign where you can easily create your own supporter page to inspire others with a story about why you are supporting Alola’s MILK Campaign, post updates, images and videos, tell your social networks and ask others to help you make a real difference.
